United Kingdom Shipping Policy

The Black Art Depot does ship to the United Kingdom. It is the second most popular international destination for the artwork and other products on our website. Below you will find information related to the different shipping methods offered, how to track your packages and what to do in special circumstances where you do not see the United Kingdom as a shipping destination when checking out. 

Shipping Methods

Customs and Duties

You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. The customer is responsible for additional charges for import duties and taxes. Our prices do not include any possible import duties or taxes that may be levied upon the customer. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary from country to country and you should contact your local customs office with any questions that you may have. Customs for all international packages will list the value of the content of your order.

Special Circumstances

The United Kingdom will not appear as a shipping destination for any orders that have a combined shipping weight of over 10 pounds (4.54 kilograms) unless the total price exceeds $350.00. If your order is affected by this issue please contact our office at ukshipping@blackartdepot.com for a custom quote so that we can provide you with the best price possible on shipping after we have had an opportunity to review your order.  

Shipping Notes

Please make sure you are aware of the minimum and maximum transit times for the shipping method you select. Once we ship your order we have no control of how quick it will reach the United Kingdom outside of the shipping provider's promised minimum and maximum transit time. Sometimes orders arrive quickly but at times the shipping provider may take the maximum transit time noted to reach the destination.

In most situations our organization can't file a claim for a missing or delayed order until the maximum transit time has passed.

The Black Art Depot currently uses the United States Postal Service and the Royal Mail for all International shipments to the United Kingdom. Our Standard International Shipping utilizes the First Class Mail International shipping method and our Expedited International Shipping utilizes the Priority Mail International shipping method. 

If you prefer that we ship your order via USPS Priority Mail Express International, UPS, DHL or Federal Express please contact our office at ukshipping@blackartdepot.com for a custom quote based on your needs.

Tracking Orders

All orders that ship via Standard International Shipping or Expedited International Shipping can be tracked on the USPS website while the order is in the United States and once the order enters the United Kingdom it can be tracked via Royal Mail.

The only exception would be if you requested a different shipping provider and received a custom quote for your order. In that instance please check the website of the requested shipping provider.

Custom Quotes

If at anytime you feel as if your shipping charges are excessive please contact our office at ukshipping@blackartdepot.com and provide us with the items you were attempting to order and we will be happy to work up a custom quote for you to see if we can save you any  money on shipping.

Backorders

The Black Art Depot strives to provide a timely and efficient service for all of our customers. We keep a large amount of art prints in our warehouse and have a large and established distribution chain to get the art prints that we do not have in stock. Our inventory is dynamic and changes from week to week. In some cases an item may not be in stock or may be sold out when we receive your order. If we cannot process and ship the order within 5 business days we will notify you via email or phone to inform you of the status of your order and the projected ship date. If you decide that you do not want to wait for the item please inform our staff at this time and we will cancel your order immediately.

In some rare cases, an item may no longer be available. If this occurs we will notify you immediately, cancel your order and remove the print from our website.

A Way to Save

Shipping to the United Kingdom can feel expensive when placing small orders. A good way to save money on shipping to the United Kingdom is to place larger individual orders or get a group of interested family members or friends and place an order together. This will reduce your per item shipping cost and may even qualify you for free or flat shipping depending upon the size of your order.
