A set of art prints featuring Hear No Evil (Female) and Hear No Evil (Male) by Sterling Brown. Each painting is a stunning religious art print featuring an African American woman or man who is covering his or her ears with the Holy Bible as he or she refuses to be defiled or influenced by the words of man. This work of art is a biblical twist on the maxim "Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil, See No Evil" that can allegedly be traced all the way back to Confucius' Code of Conduct.

Sterling Brown
Sterling Brown is one of the nation’s most prolific poster artists, and the top in demand on the African American art circuit. His creations, like the wildly popular Spiritual Nap and Looking Good Cooking series, result in instant recognition. And seasoned art collectors make his originals a must have addition to their fine art collections. In addition to being a painter, Sterling Brown is also a sculptor. Sterling was honored as the artist chosen to create and design a 911 Statue to the fallen firefighters of the New York City Fire Department. His creation marking the 10th anniversary of the tragedy. Sterling was also selected as the artist to capture the life of Naval hero Carl Brashear. Sterling’s painting of Brashear was the centerpiece during the christening of the U.S.S Carl Brashear, where military dignitaries and Robert DeNiro, the star of the Brashear biopic “Men of Honor”, praised Sterling. Sterling Brown was not only commissioned for the painting of Brashear, Sterling also made the life size bust honoring the first African American diver. Most in stock items ship in 0 to 5 business depending upon the shipping method selected during checkout.
