If life is my canvas, then art is my imprint. It signifies a moment in which I was inspired … I was alive. The vastness of the human spirit has always been a source of inspiration to me. Its depths and avenues are limitless, and by nature its appeal is universal. My work attempts to celebrate the human spirit as an unchained, powerful, and glorified moment in time, crystallized through strokes of colour on canvas. I begin with a creative impulse and embark on a process of self discovery, exploring the layers of what I’m trying to communicate. However, beyond merely using human emotion as a subject matter to appeal to the masses, my art is meant to be an intimate dialogue with a viewer. It starts with an invitation to peer into my world, see what I see and feel what I feel. It then transitions into something more profound – a dialogue the viewer has with themselves. I want my art to happen to them; allow it to take them on a personal journey. Since my work is rooted in human emotion, the right piece can touch the right viewer in a place then didn’t know existed, filling them with familiar joy or even exposing caverns of vulnerability. That’s because emotion can envelop the senses in an instant, just like life. As I embrace this artistic journey I continue to be motivated by the unknown. What will my next piece be and where will it take me? Art is my 6th sense for deciphering, interpreting and manifesting my thoughts and feelings. Through my work, it is my intention to leave my imprint on you. Most in stock items ship in 0 to 5 business depending upon the shipping method selected during checkout.
