Another member of Edwin Lester's celebrated "Music in Motion" series. This release was inspired by the life of Nina Simone. It depicts Nina at the piano amidst a smoky and colorful backdrop. In the smoke, you see the words "Feeling Good". "Feeling Good" is a song from Nina's 1965 album "I Put a Spell on You". The song was originally written to express a particular kind of euphoria: that which comes with liberation from oppression.

“The High Priestess of Soul,” Nina Simone was a singer, pianist, songwriter, and civil rights, activist. Mostly known as a jazz singer, her music blended gospel, blues, folk, pop, and classical styles. No popular singer was more closely associated with the Civil Rights Movement than Simone.

A limited edition available as a giclee on paper or giclee on canvas. Ships signed and numbered and with a certificate of authenticity. Hand-embellished artist proofs and remarques are available. Edition size of 60pcs. All canvas giclees are treated with varnish and ultraviolet (UV) coating to preserve the work of art and ensure it displays properly.
