Spiritual Nap Set
A set of two of our most popular art prints by Sterling Brown, Spiritual Nap and Spiritual Nap II. Each is a peaceful work of art by Sterling featuring either an African- American woman or man resting with a bible in hand. This series of paintings were inspired by a biblical scripture from Matthew 11:28-30 that reads:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
